Editorial Independence
Our editors decide what to cover and how to rank it without input from Amazon, manufacturers, or any advertiser. No brand can pay for a better ranking, a higher spot, or removal of a negative point. Affiliate commission rate is never a ranking factor.
Sourcing Standard
Every factual claim on this site traces back to one of: aggregated owner reviews, manufacturer documentation and specifications, or published expert consensus. We do not publish first-hand test results because we do not perform first-hand tests — see our How We Rank page for what "honest research" means in practice. Every product we link to is a real, current Amazon listing sourced through Amazon's own licensed product data.
What We Will Not Publish
- Claims of first-hand testing, "hands-on" experience, or physical handling of a product we have not bought.
- Star ratings or review counts from a source we cannot verify as licensed and current.
- Sponsored content that isn't clearly labelled as such.
- A recommendation ordered or influenced by commission rate rather than fit for the reader's need.
- Fabricated author credentials, degrees, or professional certifications.
Authors & Bylines
Guides are written under editorial pen-names representing our research team, disclosed as such on every author page. Bios describe real research experience and topic ownership — never invented licenses or degrees. See our authors page.
Updates & Corrections
Pages are dated and re-checked when a product lineup changes materially. Significant corrections are noted on the page; see our Corrections process. Broader conduct concerns go through Complaints.
